With Forest Edge, Your Work is Personal
Forest Edge Construction was established in 2010 by Matthew Barker. As a family-run business, we offer the direct contact and accountability of a smaller contractor, supported by a trusted network of skilled tradespeople, specialists and suppliers.
Matthew remains closely involved throughout each project, giving clients a clear point of contact from the initial conversation through to completion and beyond.
We are happy to provide references and, where appropriate, arrange visits to completed projects so you can see the standard of our work for yourself.
A complete solution
A successful building project involves many decisions, trades and moving parts. We help bring them together, working with you through design development, preparation, construction and final handover.
By coordinating experienced tradespeople and trusted suppliers, we keep communication clear and maintain consistent standards throughout the project.
“I would not hesitate to use Barker and Barker Ltd for other projects, if they were available. A first-class company who keep you in the loop and stay within their estimates."

CLEAR COMMUNICATION, STRAIGHTFORWARD ADVICE
We believe a successful project depends on trust as much as workmanship. From the outset, we provide clear information, realistic expectations and regular updates so you know how the work is progressing.
Every property and every client is different. We tailor the way we manage each project to its scale, technical requirements and the needs of the people living or working there.
A REPUTATION BUILT ON QUALITY
Much of our work comes through recommendations from previous clients. That reflects the care we take over both the finished result and our clients’ experience throughout the build.
Every project is different, and we adapt our approach accordingly. We are happy to provide references and examples of completed work, helping you make an informed decision before your project begins.
